Electric Eagles Soar
ACES wrapped up the year strong hosting several online virtual STEAM CAPS sessions that enlightened many students about the career field of Electrical Engineering.
Our
theme: "Electric Eagles ". We now have Electric Eagles in over 25 different states and 2 countries.
Students learned the fundamentals of Electrical Engineering with a dynamic hands on, minds on workshops.
The students competed for prizes as they calculated the current
using Ohm's law. The students were challenged
to learn the basics of algebra using the equation I = V/R . The students who were able to
calculate the voltage and resistance won a special gift.
The students were also introduced to African American Electrical Engineers and Computer Scientist who served as role models.
Special thanks to our supporters.
Your vision and willingness to prepare this generation is commendable.
ACES welcomes partnerships with minority owned, woman, and veteran businesses. ACES also welcomes collaborations with other engineering, science and technology organizations.

ACES Electric Eagles Future Engineers

Elijah Howard, SILA 7th Grade, Baltimore Maryland
My aspiration is to become an Electrical Engineer.
I plan on working on projects like electric boats or
some great innovation. My experience at ACES really
helped me get a step closer to my goals of becoming a
great Electrical Engineer. If you aspire to become an
Electrical Engineer like me, learn under ACES.

Gia Reynolds, Home School 5th grade, Las Vegas Nevada
I was inspired by the keynote speaker, Dr. John Foster
and the Panelists, Mr. Demario Bassette, Dr. Tyrone
Benson, and Dr. Rashaunda Henderson. I believe that
I can become an Electrical Engineer if I do the work.
The materials that I received in the mail made the virtual
hands on activities fun. Ms. Tory taught me how to
use Ohm’s Law to calculate the resistance, voltage, and
current in a closed circuit. I also learned the symbols of
some electrical components and the anatomy of an Atom. I look forward to designing
my own circuits someday, because I like inventing things.
Preparing our youth, one mind at a time.
